Congratulations to the 2021 HWCOM Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society inductees.

This year, 18 students were inducted into the prestigious national honor society – 4 juniors and 14 seniors. Dr. Nelson Garcia Jr., M.D. was honored with the AOA Volunteer Clinical Faculty Award.

AOA recognizes scholarship and other values including honesty, ethics, dedication to serving others, and leadership. Nearly seventy-five percent of deans of U.S. medical schools are members of AOA. The Florida Epsilon Chapter was founded at HWCOM in 2012.
