Sixteen medical students and two faculty members are being recognized for their dedication to service and humanism by being inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. The induction ceremony took place on February 21 on FIU’s main campus.
Gold Foundation co-founder Sandra Gold was a special guest at the event. She and her late husband, Dr. Arnold Gold, a world-renowned pediatric neurologist, started the foundation in 1988 with the idea of nurturing and preserving the tradition of the caring physician.
Congratulations to the 2023 Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine inductees.
